BLOG
Real hope. Real answers. Real life.
The Bible is more than a historical record; it’s a living testament to God’s heart for His people. When it comes to healing, His promises are clear, abundant, and unchanging. This blog will guide you through some of the key scriptures that reveal His will to heal, teach you how to hold fast to those promises, and help you build an unshakable foundation of faith.
God’s Word is alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). It’s not just ink on a page—it’s a declaration of His character and will. When we find His promises of healing in scripture, we gain insight into His unchanging nature. These verses remind us that He is not only able to heal, but also willing.
“God’s promises of healing reveal His nature as our loving, faithful Father.”
For example, in Exodus 15:26, God declares, “I am the Lord who heals you.” This foundational statement is echoed throughout the Old and New Testaments. The ministry of Jesus is a vivid illustration of this truth: everywhere He went, He healed the sick, restored the broken, and brought life to the hopeless. His actions show that healing is not just what God does; it’s who He is.
Several passages in the Bible make it unmistakably clear that healing is God’s will. Here are just a few to meditate on and confess over your life:
“These scriptures are your healing arsenal—use them daily.”
Believing God’s promises is the first step; standing on them is what brings them to life in your situation. Standing on the Word means trusting what God has said above what you feel, see, or hear. It means speaking His promises aloud, declaring them over your body, and refusing to waver even when symptoms persist.
“Standing on God’s Word is more than belief—it’s bold, unwavering trust.”
To stand firm, keep the Word before your eyes and in your heart. Meditate on these healing promises, letting them sink deep into your spirit. When doubts arise, counter them immediately with scripture. For example, if you start to think, “Maybe healing isn’t for me,” declare, “By His stripes, I am healed” (Isaiah 53:5). Over time, this habit builds a fortress of faith that doubt and fear cannot penetrate.
Romans 10:17 reminds us that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” If you want to strengthen your belief in God’s healing promises, immerse yourself in His Word. Read healing scriptures aloud, listen to sermons that teach on healing, and surround yourself with testimonies of God’s goodness.
“The more you hear God’s Word, the stronger your faith becomes.”
By consistently exposing yourself to the truth of His promises, your faith will grow. You’ll find it easier to believe, to speak life over your circumstances, and to trust God completely for your healing.
